Used in a variety of industries, this sack design is convenient for ease of filling, as it is able to stand during the filling process. Once filled is very stable, enabling easy top closure.
Milk Powder Sacks:
A block bottom design sack containing a Z-folded polythene liner, this sack design is ideal for powdered products and used extensively by milk powder producers.
We now offer these sacks with a tear off bottom patch which enables removal of the inner polythene bag and empty the powder without the need to use any tools to open the sack. Furthermore, the technology we use to remove the bottom patch does not cause any tearing of the paper, thus preventing any chance of contamination of the milk powder by paper fibres. The complete separation of the of the polythene liner from the paper plies of the
back mean that recycling is very easy, as there is no difficult separation of polythene from paper.
Valve Sacks:
A comprehensive range of sizes of valve sacks are available, from sizes suitable for 3 kg of powder product to sacks with a valve of 210 mm width. We produce valve sacks with integrated handles suitable for point-of-sale applications, sacks with a sewn bottom and a valved top, and sacks with a tear-out base for ease of emptying.
We offer Thermionic Valve sacks suitable for use with filling lines equipped with this sealing technology. Particularly useful for cementation products sold in retail outlets where leakage presents a problem, these sacks provide a leak proof seal at the valve.
Foil Lined Sacks:
Used in applications that specify minimal ingress of water or water vapour onto the product in the sack, and/or no light penetration. These sacks have a hot melt top; and are pinch bottom.
Polylined Sacks:
These are manufactured using the same production techniques as foil lined sacks, this design is used in the food processing and chemical industries. Hot melt top closures are normally utilised in these sacks. Polylined sacks can be produced with loose Z-fold liners or glued-in liners, depending on requirements.
SOS Bags:
We have available a range of sizes, with or without handles. Clay coated U.V. varnished papers with full process printing give a superior appearance, and the bags may also be supplied with heat reactive inner poly coatings for effective sealing after filling. These bags can be printed in up to 8 colours.
All of our paper sacks can be printed up to eight colours plus a varnish coating for enhanced appearance should this be a requirement. Either a water based varnish or a UV varnish can be applied, depending on the final application of the sack and the appearance desired.
